Prior to joining the firm as an Associate Attorney, Ms. Lebenzon was a Research Attorney in the Criminal Writs Center at the Los Angeles Superior Court. In that role, she analyzed petitions for writ of habeas corpus motions throughout the State of California. She also authored written recommendations, memorandums of decision, and briefs for judges across Los Angeles County. Ms. Lebenzon worked for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office as a law clerk in the prestegious Hard Core Gang unit and the Family Violence Unit that handles domestic violence. Additionally, she worked in the Organized Crime Unit and also handled juvenile matters.
Ms. Lebenzon graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. She later attended Pepperdine University School of Law where she was a member of the Women's Legal Association and the Pepperdine Criminal Law Society. During law school, she was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in the Civil Rights Seminar and earned the Criminal Law Practice Certificate upon graduation.
When Ms. Lebenzon joined the Kraut Criminal & DUI Lawyers, she brought additional skills to the firm including expanding the firms' litigation practice. She has behind-the-scenes knowledge of how the Superior Court analyzes complex criminal matters and uses those skills on behalf of Kraut Criminal & DUI Lawyers clients.
